 Kids Outdoor Club has always prided itself on being a low cost,
flexible alternative for families and we want to maintain this position within the San Francisco community. Therefore,
we have added the number of need-based scholarships available. IF NECESSARY, PLEASE INQUIRE AND WE WILL WORK WITH YOUR
FAMILY! 2010 Summer
PROGRAM What : Sports
and Nature in a safe, beautiful and natural setting - A wide range of activities, from obstacle courses, relay races, nature walks and scavenger
hunts.
- Many different sports, including soccer, baseball,
touch/flag football, volleyball, etc...
- Each day also
includes unstructured, supervised free play to encourage exploration.
- No day is the same.
- Every Friday - BBQ and Ice Cream for all kids!
When :
Weekly All Summer - June 7th through September 3rd, 2010
- Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Extended Care Hours Available (8:00 AM - 9:00 AM or 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM), please notify us in advance.
Where : Golden Gate Park - Speedway Meadow
- Pick
up and drop off at Speedway Meadow in GG Park.
- Day will
include sports on Speedway Meadow and walks to nearby sites in GG Park, including blackberry patches, dirt mountain, gardens,
horse stables, lakes, monuments, polo fields, and the windmill.
Who : Boys and Girls, ages 3-11
- Children 6 and older will be grouped by age and interest.
- Children 5 and under
will participate in a separate sports and nature program.
- Children
snack (pretzels and fruit provided) and eat lunch together each day, independent of groupings
